The concept of TARANNG came from BOSE CATERER, a renowned name in the Catering Industry of West Bengal, with offices at Dum Dum, Lake Town & Salt Lake, in Kolkata, and famous for its outstanding quality of Indian & Chinese food items since 1970. The founding owner of BOSE CATERER was Late Nikhil Ranjan Bose (fondly remembered as Balai Da), a self-made, far-sighted man, of immense mental strength and dedication. Balai Da was a connoisseur of food who survived a lot of ups & downs in the industry. Never afraid of trials and errors, he built up a strong organization – a bright shinning star in this very competitive industry. On the expiry of Balai Da in 1992, the reins of his business passed on to his only son Debasish Bose, who, with a degree in Hotel Management, has continued the policies and philosophies of Bose Caterer and gave shape to his late father’s dream project – TARANNG, on 1st August, 2008.

While BOSE CATERER caters to on-site client functions all over Kolkata and West Bengal, as well as parts of Orissa, Jharkhand and Bihar, TARANNG has already established itself as a prime choice for clients at Kolkata & surroundings as well as those visiting from the USA, the UK, and various other countries of the world. One can rightly claim that BOSE CATERER and TARANNG have contributed to the gastronomical delights of nearly all races, colors, religions, languages, creeds of this world, so much so that at times it becomes very difficult to get a booking of BOSE CATERER or TARANNG if not contacted well in advance.
